Prescott Director of Operations Rob Wittkie told those at last week’s Economic Development Summit that a much-anticipated local sale is becoming finalized.
Wittkie says after the sale closes and permits are obtained, the Protocol wood pellet plant is expected to begin construction in the Spring of 2016.
He also outlined a number of commercial and residential projects coming up, including an exciting waterfront development.
Wittkie says the emphasis with other economic development projects will be divided between downtown revitalization as well as highway commercial.
