A 20-year-member of the OPP has been arrested and charged with theft, drug possession and weapons offences. Constable George Duke of Brockville was taken into custody October 31st after an investigation by the OPP Professional Standards Bureau.
His charges include theft over $5,000, possession of property obtained by crime, several firearms offences and possession of a schedule II substance. The 52-year-old was released on a promise to appear and officer-in-charge undertaking. He was suspended from duty with pay.
