Prescott Town Council has approved a $600 grant to South Grenville District High School to help students travel to the Ontario Student Leadership Conference in Niagara Falls. Sixteen students from South Grenville will travel to the conference from November 13th to 15th and will learn leadership skills that will help them be successful at school, in the community, and in the workplace. Councillors expressed no hesitation in granting the funding, saying that it is important for students to learn leadership skills as the students will be vital towards the town’s growth in the near future.
