A student at Thousand Islands Secondary School in Brockville escaped with non-life threatening injuries after being struck by a car. It happened Wednesday afternoon when the 14-year-old male stepped out between two parked buses into traffic on Parkdale Ave. No charges are being laid on either the driver or the victim.
