Thousand Islands Secondary School took the banner for top intermediate team Tuesday at the Upper Canada Cup Cross Country Championships, held at Memorial Park in Brockville. Perth and District Collegiate Institute and Seaway District High School tied for second, while North Grenville District High School took third.
The meet attracted 1,200 runners from across the Upper Canada District School Board. Runners competed with the assistance of the Sportstats timing chip system, which provided organizers with instantaneous results.
