The mayors of Prescott, Augusta and Edwardsburgh/Cardinal, along with members of council and staff, gathered together Tuesday for the first-ever Economic Development Summit. Prescott Mayor Todd says the interest from big business in our area is what prompted the meeting.
At the meeting, each township provided a summary of economic development activity. Mayor Todd says he sees a few potential challenges with the three municipalities sharing commercial business in the future.
The group has decided to hold regular meetings on economic development, perhaps on a quarterly basis.
