New UCDSB plan includes different teaching methods to suit student needs

The Upper Canada District School Board says they have a plan to get better results in standardized testing scores for Grade 9 academic math. Last school year, a full 75 per cent of Grade 9 students reached the provincial standard in EQAO math testing – down two percentage points from the previous year.

The new UCDSB Board Improvement Plan for Student Achievement includes engaging teachers and administrators, building rich math communities in classrooms and using different instruction methods in all classrooms to meet the needs of all learners.
