A 50-year-old Augusta Township resident was charged Tuesday with second degree murder in relation to an ongoing homicide investigation.
Grenville County OPP found a 79-year-old deceased woman at a residence on County Road 26 shortly before 3:30 p.m. on July 8.
She has now been identified as Donna Lowry from Augusta Township.
One person was charged with indignity to a dead body on Sept. 15.
Other charges against the second person arrested include assault with a weapon, indignity to a dead body and forcible confinement. That suspect remains in custody.
The investigation continues and anyone with information is asked to contact the Grenville County OPP or Crime Stoppers.
