A Brockville Police officer is facing several charges. Brockville Police says it is running an ongoing investigation and has charged a 7-year veteran with one count of breach of trust, seven counts of discreditable conduct and five counts of neglect of duty.
A second officer is also facing disciplinary action and charges after Brockville Police asked the OPP to investigate. The incident happened while that officer was off-duty. OPP have laid several assault charges in the incident. The officer is an 8-year veteran of the force and has been moved to administrative duties.
Both officers will not be named due to the nature of the allegations.
