The Downtown Kemptville Business Improvement Area is hoping for a Christmas miracle in July.
Last winter, the BIA asked the North Grenville Men’s Shed to restore a red sled from 1910 and they set it up in Rotary Park as a photo op.
It was moved to a BIA board member’s property after Christmas and then it was stolen and removed sometime between May 25 and June 1.
North Grenville OPP were notified and an investigation is now underway.
Executive Director Talia Hreljac tells Moose FM they would like whomever took the sled to bring it back with no questions asked.
“This is not an easy sled to move. It would have taken a few people to move it, which is really unfortunate, in a coordinated effort.”
