MPP Steve Clark says hydro HST cut is too little too late

According to MPP Steve Clark, the government’s hydro bill reduction is too little too late. Clark says the 8% HST cut to Hydro bills announced during today’s throne speech isn’t enough. Clark says the government should stop signing power contracts and stop selling shares of Hydro One.

Clark also comments that he can’t see how the government will eliminate the deficit in 2017/2018 as announced during the speech. He believes it would require selling assets or making more cuts to things like healthcare services.
