Update: Tornado Watch ended for the Prescott area

Update: The watch has ended

The Prescott region is under a Tornado Watch this evening. Environment Canada has issued the watch due to favourable conditions that can produce severe thunderstorms and create isolated tornadoes. This is due to a front system moving through the area. Officials say it can be a dangerous and potentially life-threatening situation. Environment Canada suggests you continue to follow issued alerts. You can listen to 107.9 Coast FM for any warnings that are issued by Environment Canada. If you spot any severe weather, you can report it via email to [email protected] or tweet reports to #ONStorm.
