Local students are coming together to help the community grow.
Officials say the woodworking students at South Grenville District High School are making sure the Augusta Township Community Garden Project continues to move forward with positive progress.
They say their contribution has been instrumental in advancing the initiative, including the construction of both standard raised and accessible garden beds designed to support inclusive community use.
Once available, officials say the garden beds will provide residents with an opportunity to grow food, engage in outdoor activity, and participate in a shared community space.
The project is part of a partnership with Community Futures Grenville.
They add they are looking forward to sharing more progress in the upcoming weeks.
