A bear was spotted in the Hartley Street area in Brockville. Brockville Police Service was called on Sunday evening. Police told campers in the area about the bear sighting. They were reminded to avoid leaving anything that could attract bears. No other sightings took place after the initial call. Police remind residents that garbage and other items will help keep animals in the area rather than have them move on to their natural habitat.
