Guitars and Gasoline Music Festival gearing up for second summer

There may still be snow on the ground but many are starting to think about their summer plans.

The Guitars and Gasoline Music Festival is returning for a second year at the Calabogie Motorsports Park and features an all Canadian lineup including Dallas Smith, Default, Finger Eleven and the Northern Pikes.

It takes place on Friday, June 5 and the following day, with camping available along with activities for the family.

Guitars and Gasoline Director of Operations Cory Klinkenberg tells Moose FM that they are trying to follow the success of the inaugural festival.

“We did try to mix country with rock, a lot of it is trying to work with schedules to make that work. We do try to put a little bit of rock in with country, that seemed to work for us last year.”

You can purchase your tickets and learn more on the festival’s website.
