Edwardsburgh Cardinal residents can pick up free tree seedlings

Edwardsburgh Cardinal residents are getting some help as the weather turns warmer.

They can get free tree seedlings through a partnership between the township and South Nation Conservation.

You can reserve your seedlings through an online form while supplies last with tree species limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Seedlings will be available for pickup later this spring and those who reserve them will receive pickup details directly once delivery dates from the nursery are confirmed.

The program supports tree planting across the community and helps improve local forests, wildlife habitat and water quality.

You can find a link to the order form on the township’s website.
