Eastern Ontario resident working at her thirteenth Olympic Games

Eastern Ontario is well represented at the 2026 Winter Olympics.

Caroline Sharp is working as a media attache with the Canadian snowboard team meaning she helps setup interviews and fulfill other media requests for the athletes she’s working with.

She says this is the thirteenth Olympics that she’s worked at and she adds that each one is unique. Sharp says this time around she hasn’t traveled to see other sports because the mountains in the area make that difficult.

Sharp tells Moose FM that working at the games is a career highlight.

“It’s just exciting, you live the experience watching the athletes compete and doing their best.”

Sharp adds that when she’s at the Olympics she spends around three weeks there before returning home which enables her to learn more about the area she’s in.
