New Director of Care at Dundas Manor

There’s a new Director of Care at Dundas Manor.

Eric Joncas has been hired for the position and officials say he brings more than 30 years of nursing experience, much of it gained in hospitals across the United States.

His background includes extensive work in emergency departments, along with 15 years in nursing leadership roles.

Originally from Cornwall, Joncas says he’s happy to be back in Canada and serving a local community.

“I chose Dundas Manor because it has a wonderful reputation,” he shared.

“I was looking for an opportunity to work in a smaller community where I could make a positive impact on the residents and staff.”

While returning home and transitioning into long-term care has been a significant change, Joncas says the welcoming and supportive Dundas Manor team has made the move much easier.

He also brings a wealth of experience from working on major building projects throughout his career.
