A new community improvement plan will soon be in place in Edwardsburgh Cardinal.
The plan was recently given the stamp of approval by Edwardsburgh Cardinal Council and officials say that it marks the most significant update to their revitalization programs in more than a decade.
It also replaces the former plans for Cardinal and Spencerville and it will come into effect following the appeal period on Jan. 6.
Officials say the new plan introduces several new programs to respond to emerging local needs with housing identified as a major focus.
Applications for CIP programs will open on Jan. 6 and you can contact the township for more information.
