Snowmobile drivers reminded that the need their passes

You’re being reminded to have your permit if you plan on hitting the snowmobile trails.

The OPP East Region SAVE team says they began snowmobile patrols over the weekend.

They add that they are happy to report it was a safe weekend in the area.

However, they say that they are finding people riding without permits.

Police say that 2025 permits don’t count either as they expired on May 31st.

You can purchase your permit on the Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs website.
