OPP will be on the look out for distracted drivers this long weekend

The OPP is saying that distracted driver related deaths are poised to double the number of impaired-related deaths this year in Ontario. Here in the East region, Acting Sergeant Angie Atkinson says they’re seeing the same trend.

This long weekend OPP officers will be running a distracted driver campaign. The OPP is reminding everyone to leave the electronics alone while behind the wheel.
