Edwardsburgh Cardinal officials asking residents to be ready for winter

Residents in built-up areas and villages in Edwardsburgh Cardinal are being asked to be prepared for winter.

That includes moving hockey and basketball nets away from the roadside.

Officials say it helps the road crew clear snow safely and keep winter maintenance moving.

When items sit close to the road’s edge, they say they can be hit by plows or other equipment. which puts staff at risk and may damage township equipment or your property.

You’re asked to please take a moment to check your driveway and move any sports equipment back from the road.
