Prescott company signs five-year contract with the United States Navy

A Prescott based pyrotechnic company has secured a five-year contract with the United States Navy.

HFI Pyrotechnics will supply marine location markers, devices used in naval and air force training and search-and-rescue operations, to the navy.

Officials say the contract, awarded through Canada’s foreign military sales agency, advances North American stockpile security by ensuring reliable, surge-ready supply from a trusted allied source.

HFI’s first U.S. Navy contract dates to 2012.

The company is a long-standing supplier to Canada and to NATO and allied nations.
