Leeds County OPP Say an individual faces charges including attempting to commit murder on a child.
Shortly before 9:00 a.m. Friday, police say they began an intimate partner violence and child abuse investigation and, as a result, a 26-year-old was arrested and charged with numerous offences.
In addition to attempt to commit murder, the suspect also faces charges including sexual assault on a person under 16 years of age causing bodily harm, sexual interference and two counts of forcible confinement.
The accused remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in court in Brockville at a later date.
Police say the court date and the identity of the accused remain undisclosed to protect the identity of the victims.
