An upcoming virtual public information session is focused on expanding natural gas in Merrickville-Wolford.
Enbridge Gas is proposing to expand its service in the area on the north side of the Rideau River and they say the route was chosen based on surveys and consultation that’s been done so far.
Stantec Consulting was hired by Enbridge to complete the environmental study for the expansion and that includes consulting the public and gathering feedback.
A third virtual public information session will be available to be viewed from Aug. 15 to Aug. 30 on the Enbridge Gas website and any comments on the work can be submitted until the end of the month.
