Kayaking for Cancer raises over $48,300 this year and reaches a new fundraising milestone over its 16 years

This year’s Kayaking for Cancer event on the Rideau managed to raise over $48,300. The event finished in Ottawa on Saturday after an eight-day journey from Kingston. After 16 years Kayaking for Cancer has raised over $600,000 for cancer research. More money is expected to come in over the coming weeks, raising the total for the year.
