The clock is ticking down to the start of one of eastern Ontario’s largest indoor garage sales.
Hey Day, a major fundraiser for the Kemptville District Hospital, is set for this weekend and close to 300 volunteers have been busy accepting donations that will be sold at the sale.
The sale take place at the North Grenville Municipal Centre and is an annual event put on by the Kemptville District Hospital Auxiliary.
Hey Day Chair Jean Gallant tells Moose FM that’s she’s already seen some unique items coming through the doors.
“St. Patrick’s Day costumes, a big bag of them, and we have a bag of foreign currency.”
Last year, a record-setting $55,000 was raised and helped purchase a CT Scanner for KDH which is now in use.
The sale runs from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday with free admission.
