Grenville County OPP say they have charged a suspect with theft after a stolen truck was discovered in Augusta Township.
Around 7:30 Monday morning, Leeds County OPP say they responded to a call about a suspicious truck entering Augusta Township on Highway 401.
The truck was then stopped safely by Grenville County OPP as it entered Edwardsburgh Cardinal Township.
It was confirmed that the truck had been stolen earlier in the morning in Prince Edward County.
Police say one person was arrested at the scene.
In addition to theft, they have also been charged with driving without a license and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
