Champions for Kids now has another $37,500 to help area children. The 2016 Champions for Kids Foundation Golf Tournament took place in July and raised more than $37,000. Over 100 golfers took part in the event at eQuinelle Golf Club. C4K President Carole Dufort says they’re pleased with the support they received from players and businesses this year. C4K assists UCDSB children and their families to defray the costs to participate in sports, arts and other fun activities outside of school hours.
