Prescott sent some of their firefighters to help battle a forest fire north of Mallorytown. They were on scene helping through mutual aid on Tuesday. Yesterday, dozens of firefighters were still involved in monitoring hot spots. A total of ten departments were involved in fighting the stubborn fire. It’s believed the fire started because of a lightning strike on Friday.
