It appears the Town of Prescott will be staying within its budget for snow removal.
After a winter that saw lots of the white stuff come down, Prescott Mayor Gauri Shankar tells Moose FM that that they are still under the line for removal.
He says that they usually budget for five snow removals every winter and, so far, they have carried out four.
Shankar says he’s hoping we’ve seen our last blast of winter this season.
“If it’s going to be 18 degrees all that snow is going to go, it’s not going to last too long, but people get antsy and if we do get a foot of snow, we’ll probably remove it.”
Environment Canada is calling for higher than normal daytime highs for the majority of the next few weeks.
