A fire damaged a home on Highway 2, east of Cardinal, over the weekend. The fire happened between Cardinal and Iroquois on Sunday. Police reported a section of Highway 2 was closed from early morning until sometime in the afternoon while South Dundas firefighters and OPP battled the blaze. No other details have been released about the fire.
