Border services officers at the Prescott point of entry have charged two people and seized three firearms. On Sunday, July 17th Canada Border Services Agency officers seized two firearms from an RV and arrested a United States traveller. Later that day officers searched the RV again and found a third firearm. They arrested a second US traveller in the incident. On July 18th the charged both travellers with making false statements and smuggling. Both were released on bail and will appear in Brockville court on August 19th.
