Police charge two Brockville residents in two-month drug investigation

Two people from Brockville face a raft of charges and two kilograms each of cocaine and meth have been seized following a two-month police investigation.

Back in July, the Ontario Provincial Police Provincial Guns and Gangs Enforcement Team and Brockville Police say they began an investigation into drug trafficking in the Brockville area.

A search warrant was executed on September 5 in Brockville and two males were arrested.

Along with the drugs, which police say has an approximate street-value of over $575,000, officers also seized $19,000 in cash and a spring loaded knife.

Forty-two-year-old Michael Dribble has been charged with drugs and weapons offences while 45-year-old George Papageorgiou has been charged with trafficking.

Both are scheduled to appear in court in Brockville later this week.
