You’ll soon have more options for where you can buy alcohol.
Starting Thursday, convenience stores will be allowed to sell wine, beer, and certain pre-mixed cocktails.
In Prescott, both the Ultramar on Prescott Centre Drive and the MacEwan Quickie on Edward Street North will start offering alcohol.
The Mobil Waypoint Convenience Store on Edward Street North has also been approved to sell the items but a clerk at the store tells MyPrescottNow.com that they aren’t ready just yet.
The stores will be allowed to sell liquor between 7 a.m. and 11 p.m. 7 days a week, including holidays.
