The Health Unit is making it easier to find out how well a restaurant or other local food establishment has done in regards to their latest health inspection. The Leeds, Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit says they’ve improved how the public can access health inspection information on local food establishments. The program is called Insight and can be accessed through the Food Safety Page at www.healthunit.org. The Health Unit says you should look at inspection information over a period of time instead of reviewing only a single report to get an idea of ongoing compliance.
