The 2016 Shoe Boxes for Seniors campaign has launched again this year for seniors who have been affected by the Chernobyl disaster. Brockville based Canadian Aid for Chernobyl has been behind the project for many years. Director for Humanitarian Aid at Canadian Aid for Chernobyl Dave Shaw says there are many items you can pick from to put into the shoebox.
Shaw says you can also donate money through a cheque if you prefer.
You can drop off your donation or cheque to CPHC at 555 King Street West.
