A 54-year-old man is facing assault charges in Brockville. On Monday, at 6:20pm, Brockville Police were called to a domestic dispute in an apartment building in the city centre. An argument led to the man threatening to assault the woman. The victim said he also assaulted her a week ago. He was arrested for assault and uttering threats. He also assaulted a police officer while he was being processed and will face an additional charge for the assault. The accused appeared in bail court yesterday.
