Plans are already coming together for the 5th annual Upper Canada Folkfest in Prescott.
The lineup was announced for the August 24 event earlier this week.
It includes multi award-winning husband and wife duo Twin Flames, singer-songwriters Emma Lamontagne, Aleksi Campagne, Briana Doyle and Ray Harris as well as former FolkFest artistic director Arthur McGregor.
The festival began in the first year of the pandemic when it was the only live music festival staged in Canada, and is held at Prescott’s outdoor amphitheatre overlooking the marina and the St. Lawrence Seaway.
The rain location is the nearby Leo Boivin Recreation Centre.
Tickets are $25 and the show starts at noon.
