The Leeds, Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit is still looking for a resident who brought a raccoon into the Brockville Animal Hospital on June 30th. The health unit wants to make sure there’s no risk of disease transmission to anyone who has handled the raccoon. As of yesterday, no one has come forward since they first requested help Friday. If you know the person who may have handled the raccoon, please have them call Dr. Paula Stewart, the medical officer of health, at 613-345-5685.
