An Ottawa man who called a tow company after running out of gas on the 416 got a lot more than a fill-up. Friday at 8:30pm OPP were called to the scene in Edwardsburgh/Cardinal Township where a Ford Explorer had run out of gas. They were called by the tow operator who realized the 50-year-old man was impaired by alcohol. The driver was charged for being impaired behind the wheel. He was released from custody and will appear in Brockville Court on August 12th.
