Renny Raynor says the South Grenville Food Bank still needs your help and support, even if you can’t attend the upcoming collection event this weekend.
Raynor, Prescott’s Fire Chief, spoke with MyPrescottNow about the Chief Fire Officers Association of Leeds and Grenville’s second annual Food Drive.
He says you can bring your donation directly to the Food Bank if you can’t attend the collection event on March 16th, since it’s more likely for someone to be there to accept it than at the Fire Hall.
“Obviously, for some reason, if they were just in town and thought, ‘you know what, I’ll drop it off at the Fire Hall,’ as long as someone’s here, we would most certainly accept those as well,” Raynor adds.
The collection event is happening from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on the 16th, at O’Reilly’s Your Independent Grocer and Giant Tiger.
