Brockville Police were called to the VIA train station on Perth Street Thursday evening after receiving information about a bomb threat on a train. A woman on the train from Montreal told other passengers there was a bomb on the train. Police arrived at the station just after 9 and after removing the 50 year old woman from the train and speaking with her, they determined the threat wasn’t real and that she was suffering from mental health issues. She was escorted to hospital for appropriate care.
