Tens of thousands of dollars will go towards providing housing and support for young people struggling with homelessness in our region.
Connect Youth has surpassed its goal for the annual Coldest Night of the Year fundraiser.
The national event sees volunteers collecting pledges and taking to the streets to raise awareness about the things homeless people struggle with, donating the money to local charities.
This year, the event has brought in $37,130 so far, with 127 participants walking through the streets of Brockville February 24th.
Staff members with Connect Youth are thanking everyone who contributed for helping to surpass their goal for the event.
