The owners of a local pharmacy have donated $25,000 towards buying new equipment at Brockville General Hospital.
Harsh and Kanisha Patel, the owners of Parkdale Pharmacy, made the donation to celebrate their 25th anniversary.
“We are immensely grateful for the generous contribution from Harsh and Kanisha Patel,” says Brockville and District Hospital Foundation Executive Director Trish Buote. “Their act of kindness exemplifies the profound love they share and serves as an inspiring testament to the power of community spirit.”
Staff members say the money is going towards the foundation’s “Your Health Your Hospital” campaign, paying for new medical equipment.
That includes the recently announced MRI suite, which is set to open this spring.
