If you’ve ever thought about adding a new housing unit onto an existing property you own, you can learn how to get funding for it at an upcoming meeting.
The United Counties of Leeds and Grenville is hosting an information session about “secondary residential units” in Augusta in a few weeks.
The meeting will cover all the rules and regulations regarding building a second, smaller residential area onto your property in Prescott, Augusta or Edwardsburgh-Cardinal.
It’ll also go over how you can apply for a loan from the United Counties to help build the unit. A similar meeting was held in late November in Prescott.
