Connect Youth is 21 percent of the way towards its fundraising goal for an upcoming awareness event.
The organization’s annual “Coldest Night of the Year” fundraiser is one month away, and so far, $6,770 has been donated to the initiative.
The event, which is held nationally to support charities that benefit the homeless across Canada, sees people take to the streets to raise awareness and money for homeless people.
The funding from this year’s event in Brockville is going towards providing kids and teens in need in the Leeds-Grenville region with housing, food and clothing.
