The first baby of 2024 was born twenty hours and twenty-four minutes into the year at Winchester District Memorial Hospital (WDMH).
Staff members are congratulating the Noort family for the birth of their new son Everett, who came into the world at 8:24 PM January 1st.
Everett’s mother, Marissa Noort, says their older daughter Eloise is excited to be a big sister. “She didn’t want to have her afternoon nap without her baby brother in the same room,” Marissa says.
The father, Ben Noort, thanks all the staff at WDMH, and the workers are congratulating him and his family.
