South Nation Conservation recruiting members for new “Watershed Advisory Committee”

People living in the South Nation River watershed region are being invited to help contribute to its future. 

South Nation Conservation (SNC) has announced that its condensing its four advisory committees into a single “Watershed Advisory Committee” in 2024. 

Staff members say the consolidation will allow the organization to address matters like fishing, wildlife management and forestry in the region more efficiently. 

The new committee will meet four times per year, and applications are open to members of the public. 

You can find the application form on SNC’s website. The deadline to apply is January 26th.
