The dream to build a new Dundas Manor is more alive now.
An event to raise funds for the new long-term care home brought in $155,000.
The money was raised through the Sapphires & Snowflakes event at Matilda Hall in Dixon’s Corners on Nov. 18.
The total was announced by the Expanding the Circle of Compassionate Care campaign, which is raising funds to replace the Winchester-based home.

The campaign is about two-thirds of the way towards its goal now, with more than $12 million raised towards the $18-million target.
Campaign Co-Chair Nancy Farley Homes said the Sapphires & Snowflakes event featured lots of laughter and inspiring presentations.
